Our Mission
The Village Preservation Association of Plainfield, Illinois is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the identity of the Plainfield historic district in an effort to retain and restore our historic architecture and landscapes.
Our Goals
Promote a “sense of place” by becoming an active voice to preserve the uniqueness of our historic neighborhoods while protecting the rights of homeowners.
Advocate to preserve the integrity of our historic downtown by promoting historic preservation, protection, and optimal use of the village's downtown area including commercial, retail, and public spaces.
Work closely with other organizations, individuals, public and private which are engaged in similar purposes.
